Mold in finished basement
The Before Photo shows a packed finished basement that is very musty smelling. This lack of proper ventilation led to a lot of mold growth inside of the plywood paneling. Though we strive to restore before we replace building elements, there was no option but to do a complete demolition of the walls. We carefully placed out air scrubbers and HEPA vacuums to prevent the dirt, dust, mold spores, and debris from contaminating the upstairs area. We also stripped off the vinyl floor tiles and then fogged the entire space with an antifungal and antimicrobial products to sanitize, reduce the chance of future infestations, and deodorize the basement. Our SERVPRO of Centreville, Marion, and Selma franchise made this basement look "Like it never even happened."
